BRAIN GRAY (Instructor)

Brian is excited about the opportunity to teach at the SCIT.  Theater has always been a large part of Brian’s life.   While studying software, Brian began his improv career with Carnegie Mellon’s resident improv troupe, the No Parking Players.  He directed the troupe for a year, including coaching the performance group and teaching open workshops on campus.

Since his graduation in 2006, Brian has been an active member of the Pittsburgh improv community.  He co-founded and directs Irony City improv troupe which has performed with other improv troupes  in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Philadelphia.  He started and taught a monthly beginner’s workshop in Squirrel Hill for over 2 years.  He has led corporate workshops focused on team building and public speaking.  Brian is also a proud member of The Union, the SCIT Faculty house team.
