LEVEL TWO: SCENE WORK

This class builds on basics learned in Level One and applies them to scene work focusing on two person scenes. We introduce strong initiations, editing and practice techniques for object work, characters and environment to create powerful and dynamic scenes. There will be a graduation performance at the end of the session.

LEVEL THREE: INTRO TO LONGFORM
Instructor: JUSTIN ZELL
This class applies the Principals of Improv and Scenework to create full length longform structures using the basis of all modern longform: The Harold. Students learn longform techniques such as second beats, callbacks, group games and openings. Students will learn to examine not just individual scenes, but entire shows. We also begin to utilize editing, group mind and ensemble work. There will be a graduation performance at the end of the session.

This class uses movement-based exercises, scene work and group exercises to explore the primary fundamentals of improvisation, making you more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. The class emphasizes commitment to your choices, listening, and finding inspiration in your physicality. There will be a graduation performance at the end of the session.
